This cosy warm bobble blanket is ideal for adding modern texture, colour and style to your home. I have designed it for advanced beginners, it is a fairly simple pattern to follow and includes a bobble stitch chart (which many people find easier to follow) and written instructions. I give you instructions with a colour recipe and photo tutorial to help you make the bobbles pop with a different colour than your working yarn, therefore previous knowledge of how to make a bobble stitch and carry yarn will be helpful. Materials Approx 585g aran yarn, (75g for each colour block, plus yarn for border) I used Stylecraft special aran colours: Lipstick 100g Spice 75g Saffron 80g Pistachio 85g Aster 100g Magenta 75g Fondant 70g Step by step Bobble stitch guide included UK and US terminology included See more See less

Hearts and Kisses was designed as a simple and sweet one-colour baby blanket. If you can make a granny square then you can make this blanket, as it uses the same types of stitches. The finished size is approx. 72cm by 74cm but it can be adapted to any size, provided you adjust your yarn quantities. The original sample used Malabar Aran which is a blend of lofty cotton and silk, giving it weight, softness and warmth, perfect to snuggle under. However this yarn is no longer readily available. Two very good value alternatives are Stylecraft Special Aran and Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran, both come in a wide range of colours. The pattern has been adapted for these yarns. The pattern is written in English crochet terms and is charted. CROCHET PATTERN ONLY These are the cutest puffy hearts! This pattern uses them as a garland for the mantle – just in time for Valentine’s Day, but you might also use them as coasters or a garnish for a blanket or another project. I used a cotton variegated yarn in pink and white, but they would also be adorable in only pink or blue for a baby or bridal shower, or in the colors of those Valentine’s Day heart candies! Each heart is approximately 4” in diameter, and the garland I made used 9, but string as many as you like and use the directions at the end to connect them. This is an original pattern from Steady Hands Crochet and uses US terms. Permission: You may sell items you make from this pattern as long as you give Steady Hands Crochet credit for them. You do NOT have permission to use my images or sell my pattern. Returns: No returns on digital items, but please contact me if you have any questions – I want your project to turn out GREAT!
